The next BirdLife Photography Biennial Conference (previously Digital Photography In The Bush) will be held in Fremantle, WA, on 21st & 22nd September 2019.

This Search facility will search all website content, uploaded documents, and images.  Some content on this site is restricted to BLP members; visitors may not be able to access all the items found.  The search options button on the All Photos page (on the Photo Gallery drop-down menu), and on individual gallery pages, provides more options for searching images only.

A new Bird Identification Challenge is now available for our members, with the theme "Marathon Migrators".  It’s that time of year again, when the migratory birds are returning to our part of the world, so what better time to brush up on your knowledge and identification skills.  As for the previous "Wonderful Wanderers" ID Challenges, it requires you to do a little more than just identify the species; there are four associated questions, which are displayed in the ID Challenge page.

This challenge will consist of two rounds, with ten images in each.  Each round will be open for three weeks.  Round 1 opened on 1st September, and will close on 23rd September; round 2 will open shortly after.  To access the ID Challenge, you must be logged in to the website; when you are, the ID Challenge will be available on the Photo Gallery menu.  Simply open that page, enter your answers for each image in the comments box under the image, then click the Submit button at the bottom of the page to submit your answers.  A copy of your answers will be emailed to you.

Enjoy this Challenge!
