Visited Killarney Beach on way home from DPITB . The numbers of waders was impressive. Only spotted one Hooded plover but I am sure more are about. The Hooded plover was protecting its territory and attacked groups of Stints if they approached too close. Amazing to see one small bird putting large flocks to flight. There is a small caravan park at the beach.
