Hi Peter,

Excellent idea on the camo netting.
I tried to go down that laneway a year or so ago but couldn't find any good suppliers of netting.
I even went so far as to purchase a camo, fold up seat from Anaconda, that even has a rotatable seat. Imagine that, just swinging your arse side to side no restrictions. . .
Any chance that you could give us a link to the netting that you have got hold of ???
Thanks in advance,

Bruce

Hi Bruce
I'm not at home at moment and I don't know how to send a link on my mobile.
As I have already mentioned, I purchased the camo net on eBay Aus. If you have an account? Search 263020936873, this is the item number and one should appear.
I cut mine to a size that covers me when standing, and used Velcro to hold open the 2 holes that I had cut for the lens and flash. I find this more convenient than a hide, plus it will fit into the camera bag.
Let me know if you have trouble trying to order.
Good luck!
Peter.

I found in general that the color of clothing generally doesn't make much of a difference. I generally wear darkish or neutral color clothing. What I have found more important is not to make any really dramatic movements or break the horizon (jump up, stand out from behind the tree). Just staying really still can often bring the birds back regardless.
