The "yellow" Red-rumped Parrot created a lot of discussion on the day. It's most likely an example of xanthochromism .

I'm sorry but my computer skills aren't as good as they could/should be.
I hope that the information is of use to the original poster?
I'm actually keeping the trip reports from the Melbourne club so that I can visit the spots myself when I become more active with my bird photography. I have finished getting my 'birding' camera equipment together and now it's just a matter of a bit of practise then I'm into it. I have been practising daily around Lake Wendouree in Ballarat.
The only real difficulty at the moment is I have a Hobby Falcon in rehab care at my house and he needs a bit of attention.
Geez, I hope I haven't ruined Mary's thread?
