Posting a New Topic

When posting a new topic, please ensure that you select the correct category for your post in the top drop-down box of the edit window. The default entry is the first category shown on the All Categories page; this is unlikely to be the category that you want. The Category drop-down box will be present if you click the New Topic tab in the Forum menu; if you are viewing a particular category of the Forum and you use the New Topic button in the Category Header section, the drop-down box will not be present, and your new post topic will automatically appear in the category that you are viewing.

It's must be time to start thinking about the Tom Oliver Award for 2017. Can anyone advise if the intention is to present it at the next "Birds in the Bush" meeting?

.. And if so, it may be time to put a new heading about it up on this forum.

Hi Les,
Thank you for this important post. Now that the business associated with the AGM is completed there will shortly be an announcement about the Tom Oliver Award. In brief, I anticipate the details of the award to be announced in July. The award will be presented at the DPITB event in Geelong in 2017.

The Committee is actively seeking a new 'champion' to promote the award as you did for its inaugral year - you will be a hard act to follow.
