CommentThis individual was at the WTP for the summer and avidly sought-after most days by visiting birders. It was usually found on the foreshore with a scope and if the tide was out, the bird was too far off for photography. Consequently, along with all the other exigencies including the need for some good luck, few acceptable captures were made.
EquipmentCanon 1DxII + 600 mm f/4 II + 1.4x III extender, hand-held.
Manual, spot metering, AI Servo spot AF, f/7.1, 1/800 sec, ISO 800.
Processed with DPP4 and PSE14 with Neat Image plug-in.
