Comment:I entered this photo because to me it shows breast, neck and head feathers in good detail and colour. I also like the eye contact, showing he is aware that he is being observed.
Equipment:Canon 7D Mark II with EF 600mm F4/L USM non IS lens at 600mm, 1/800 sec, F6.3, ISO 200 on tripod.
Location:Jessie's Gap (Alice Springs) (Northern Territory)
