CommentFirst upload to the Critique Gallery - beginner photographer. Practising depth of field techniques with roosting Crested, Roseate & Caspian Terns amongst a flock of Cormorants. Terns approx 20m away from where photograph taken. Amongst the terns stood the much larger and bolder Caspian Tern in breeding plumage...an ideal subject in which to practice on amongst about 50 birds. Some post processing undertaken but not too familiar with Lightroom just yet.. In terms of composition I would prefer the CP to be more left of centre but this would have meant cropping half of the head of the middle Crested Tern. Likewise should I include more of the tern in the foreground? Curious as to what would would be appropriate. I very much look forward to any feedback on all aspects. Many thanks in advance.
