Black Kite

Black Kite
Comment:I think this is a "regal" image of a Black Kite rather than when you normally seen them on the highway looking for roadkill. I came upon this bird on a short morning walk before I headed further north-west on my way to Brookdale Station in the Queensland's gulf country. I like the photo because of its sharpness across the whole image and the angle captures the bird in a stately pose. This photo has made me see Black Kite's in a different light, as the bird is surprising attractive when captured in good light and from not too far away.
