Bar-tailed Godwit, Red-necked Stint

Bar-tailed Godwit, Red-necked Stint
CommentThese birds had been disturbed from feeding. I was lucky to hold focus on this group as they returned and slowed to land. It's an interesting comparison between the different sizes of the species (Red-necked Stint - smallest, far right) but they have the same flight characteristics and often fly together.
