CommentLarge numbers were feeding on flying insects, mallee nectar and foraging on the ground. Many birds were nesting in mallee woodland. This is an adult female with paler tones than the male.
EquipmentCanon 5Ds + 600 mm f/4 II + 1.4x III extender, hand-held.
Manual, spot metering, AI Servo spot AF, f/7.1, 1/1000 sec, ISO 250.
Processed with DPP4 and PSE14 with Neat Image plug-in.
