CommentComing from the east on a foggy, overcast morning and banking in front of us. One of the birds over-wintering on Westernport Bay. Distinguished from slightly smaller Eurasian Curlew by lack of white under-wing coverts and white rump.
EquipmentCanon 5Ds + 400 mm f/4 DO II + 1.4x III extender, hand-held.
Manual, spot metering, AI Servo AF with 8-pt expansion, f/5.6, 1/2000 sec, ISO 2000.
Processed using DPP4 and PSE14 with Neat Image plug-in.
