The discussion here has wandered a bit from the topic of my original post/poll, which was to give us information to help us when we're trying to solve some browser-dependent problems - including a current one which affects people using Safari (under Mac OS or on an iPad) when trying to select the species for an image submission.
The issue of site speed/responsiveness is something that we're aware of, and are addressing separately. Some of this is probably due to server issues - which we're looking at - and some is probably due to each individual's internet connection via their ISP, and the equipment they are using - which we can do nothing about. In my own case, my response time has worsened since I was downgraded from my Optus cable connection to the NBN (which, in my opinion, should be called the National Narrowband Network).

Hi Rob,

I used to use Internet Explorer with Windows, but it would not allow me to drag-and-drop images when uploading photos to the BLP site. I switched to Chrome and have had no problems since on Windows 7 and Windows 10.
