The default entry is the first category shown on the All Categories page; this is unlikely to be the category that you want. The Category drop-down box will be present if you click the New Topic tab in the Forum menu; if you are viewing a particular category of the Forum and you use the New Topic button in the Category Header section, the drop-down box will not be present, and your new post topic will automatically appear in the category that you are viewing.

This error was due to a file corruption problem - not sure exactly why this occurred. The good news is that it's now fixed.

It would be better to report any error by email, rather than by posting to the forum. The email link in the Contact Us section which appears at the bottom of every page on the site can be used for this; we are likely to see any such email much sooner than chancing upon a forum post.

Thanks for your reply and for fixing the problem Rob,
Funnily enough I pondered over the 'Contact Us' link and I thought that might not be as quickly attended to as a direct email as I never new where that link went?
