Hi Everyone,

I will be in Perth (AU) at the beginning of May. I have 2 mornings that I can go chasing birds in Perth and 3 days in the Margret River region. I will have a car and a drive under 100km does not worry me although for Perth under 50km would be preferable. Where would you suggest would be the best spots? I would really like to get a picture of a Carnaby's Black Cockatoo while I am there.

Hi Rodney,
I'm from the West but not Perth or Margaret River so cannot help directly .
There is a local bird group in the Margaret River region which conducts monthly bird walks . They may be able to help you with locations.
The people that run it are Boyd Wykes & Christine Wilder & their emails are Boyd This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. & Christine is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Perhaps if you were to contact them they may be able to help you with the Margaret River part of your trip.
Regards Woody
