Thanks Bruce,
Just tried on another photo on the laptop and worked a treat. You can always learn something! When I get back on the desktop I will adjust the blue on the photo in this post as per your recommendation and repost it. Every one I have showed the two photos to (as first posted and then after masking and adjusting the blue following the guidelines in Ian's article) preferred the former. This will give me a better chance of obtaining a more pleasing result. Almost need to change the title so that others are prompted to look and learn!
