Hi everyone, I joined BLP recently and enjoyed the BLP campout at Swan Hill. I retired recently and look forward to photographing birds with like-minded people. My aim is to get good images of as many species as possible and replace my current photos as my skills improve.
I look forward to meeting more BLP members in the future.
Regards
Harry H

Hello Harry,
Welcome to BLP, I hope you enjoy your time with us. Unfortunately, I missed the Swan Hill camp-out because we had a long-planned trip to the Murray-Sunset NP at the same time. I have seen the the Swan Hill bird list and it looks like you had some great sightings making the trip well worth the effort. I am a bit envious that you found the Orange Chats which would be a new bird for me.
I am glad you have found your way to this Forum and I encourage you to explore the BLP website where there are lots of hidden gems. Don't hesitate to ask questions or seek advice if you feel the need. The back issues of the Newsletter contain a lot of useful information that may help improve your skills and there are plenty of experienced bird photographers here who are only too willing to help. The Critique Gallery is a great way to get up to speed and meet some of our members.
Welcome and best wishes, Ian
