Posting a New Topic

When posting a new topic, please ensure that you select the correct category for your post in the top drop-down box of the edit window. The default entry is the first category shown on the All Categories page; this is unlikely to be the category that you want. The Category drop-down box will be present if you click the New Topic tab in the Forum menu; if you are viewing a particular category of the Forum and you use the New Topic button in the Category Header section, the drop-down box will not be present, and your new post topic will automatically appear in the category that you are viewing.

Congratulations and thank you to the committee that staged the Fremantle conference. It ran like clockwork with an excellent choice of venue. First class presentations from the speakers and the trade display was well catered for and supported by attendees.The dinner had the bonus of a very entertaining after dinner speaker. Meeting people who have only been names on this website is one of the great benefits of attending the conference. After being inspired by the speakers now is the time to apply the lessons learnt.

Thanks Doug. And I'd like to add my thanks, on behalf of the BirdLife Photography Committee, to the local Organising Committee for this conference, who looked after all the things that you mentioned. They did a fantastic job!
