CommentI had a pleasant couple of hours at this spot, I felt lucky to see a dozen or so of these birds there. Apparently not a regular visitor but due to the lack of rain a lot of mud was exposed offering some good feeding opportunities. One bird in particular (top bird, male I thought) was strutting around and standing very tall and erect, chasing some of the other birds away. I switched my focus to the bird on the bottom (assuming it to be a female, I could be wrong) because he seemed to be approaching it. He approached from the front/side towards her right shoulder. It all happened so fast, I took a burst of 5 shots, the first two, he was blurred, this was the only shot (3) where they were both in focus. The next 2 frames he had spun around and exited the way he came. I am not sure if he was attempting to mate or whether it was a display of dominance and I don't know if they were male and/or female. I would be happy for any feedback.
