CommentWhile visiting Jindabyne we were camped near trees which were in full blossom and several house sparrows were in residence as well. The house sparrow is not usually a targeted bird for me, however, as it was positioned in such lovely coloured blossom it was an irresistible opportunity to pass up. The afternoon light was good and this helped to highlight the colours of the bird and the tree blossom. The photo is hand held at 1/800 sec which gave a nice sharp image, and with an aperture of f6.3 the ISO was 320 which resulted in little noise pollution.
