CommentThis was my first opportunity to photograph gouldians after many years of searching for them. This photo was particularly special because this is a male in full pose displaying his new seasons plumage which was incredibly enhanced not only by the fresh cockatoo grass but also the late afternoon light at approx 5.45pm. The twinkle in his eye sparkles of great things to come.
