CommentThis pair of Red-rumped Parrots are busy checking out a potential nesting hollow - giving me the opportunity to photograph them side-by-side. The shot clearly shows why they are named 'Red-rumped'. I have not noticed the red rump in the female before.
[Moderators Note: GR Cam; I have been studying this species since my teens and i have never seen a female with a red rump such as on this female.]

1/160th sec at f/8 , ISO 1000.
Processed with Photoshop 22.2 with Neat Image v8 plugin (Noise reduction and Sharpening).
