CommentWith half a lizard. After swallowing this it swooped down to pick up the rest. I think it can be said that these birds, having been introduced from the east in the late 19th century, are viewed with mixed feelings in WA. They were introduced to control the snake population but feed on many other reptiles and small birds, as well as taking over nesting spots from native birds.
