CommentChiming Wedgebills were found at sunrise calling from high perches. They were wary and I was unable to get close enough for an acceptable shot. However, from time-to-time they would come down to ground to feed and this provided an opportunity to sneak up on this one.
EquipmentCanon 1Dx II + 600 mm f/4 III + 1.4x III extender, hand-held. Manual, partial metering, AI Servo spot AF, f/5.6, 1/1000 sec, ISO 1250. Processed using DPP4 and PSE14 with Neat Image plug-in.
