CommentI went out with a couple of friends to get some novice practice at attempting BIF photos using a red dot gun sight. We were quite amused that the birds we ended up practising on were a couple of Peregrine Falcons – the world’s fastest birds. It was interesting to note that at the base of a nearby rocky outcrop, there were many budgerigar feathers, suggesting that they were likely prey for the Peregrine Falcons. The budgerigars had most likely moved south to escape the extreme weather and fire conditions further north.
