CommentOne of my first images with my new Canon 1DS Mark II body. We're lucky to see lots of Cockatoos in our local area. This one was among a flock of Red-Tails feeding in some gums I spotted while driving past, so I pulled over and was please to find this cooperative character on a clear branch that I was able to foreground-frame with some the tree leaves.
EquipmentCanon EOS 1DS MKII, Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Sports, standing, handheld, manual exposure, F/6.3, 1/500 and ISO 1600. Post processed using DPP4, PSE and Neat Image plug-in.
