CommentMature female part of a small group (6-10 individuals, some in pairs) that spent a couple of days foraging gum nuts and trimming leaves and thin branches from our jarrahs. In this image the bird shows good eye contact with the viewer and reasonable detail in the plumage. Dark shadows on the bird's underside and back were left 'as is' in order to best match my recollection of its appearance on the day.
