Comment

I like this photo because it shows a riflebird, behaving naturally searching for food amongst a bird's nest fern. Flash was necessary as it was a very dark situation, however, I've deliberately left slightly on the underexposed side to retain the feeling of dark rainforest.

Equipment

Canon EOS 10D, Canon EF 100-400 F/5.6 zoom at 400mm. f/6.7, 1/200 sec., ISO 100. Flash off camera on bracket.
