CommentAround about October 2019 Pied Honeyeaters were turning up in little patches of Berrigan (Eremophila longifolia) in SW NSW and NW Vic. Its an important plant in this part of the world for birds. With this image I've cropped to increase the negative space on the left. For some reason I am always drawn to images with the subject pushed towards the edge or the corner.
EquipmentNikon D810, Nikon 200-500 f/5.6, at 500mm. f/6.3, 1/1250 sec, ISO 800. On tripod.
