CommentPatience is not always rewarded - but on this occasion it was. I watch a group of about 15 Scarlet Honeyeaters on and off for an hour and half. Most of that time they were up higher in the gums. But they eventually moved their way down to eye level. Scarlet Honeyeaters are not a common sight in Melbourne most years - so this is a very pleasing shot.
