CommentCockatoo was incensed by the presence of the Lace Monitor, which had been searching for nests that it could predate. Once the cockatoo had noticed it, the monitor was forced to retreat and found a degree of shelter between two trunks. The cockatoo contnued to watch it closely however. To obtain acceptable sharpness of both animals I used f/7.1. The use of a wide lens helped in this regard. Murray River in background.
EquipmentPanasonic DC-G9 with Panasonic 12-60mm zoom, set to 40 mm. f/7.1, 1/400 sec, ISO 800.
