CommentIt was an unexpected joy to see a small flock of Chestnut-rumped Heathwrens in Chiltern today. Sitting still allowed these tiny birds to come quite close as they foraged for a feed. The buff supercilium and underparts (as opposed to being white) of this bird indicate it is a female.
