Dusky Moorhen

Dusky Moorhen
Photographed byCon Boekel on Fri 24th Nov, 2017 and uploaded on Sun 26th Nov, 2017 .
CommentStanding just downstream of a dam wall, with the water lapping over the edge, provided a rare opportunity to take images from water level. The main technical variables seemed to be that the lighting needs varied almost from second to second as the bird swam across the pond. Many images were blown.
