| Comment | This White winged Fairy-wren was displaying to females with this blue plastic in it's beak . I haven't seen this before and thought it may be of interest to others. He wasn't doing the usual singing etc but going up to the girls and showing them the new bluer thing he had, flying away about 10m into some heavy foliaged shrubs and then going back to this branch and then to where the females were down low in some heath, they appeared to ignore him I am thinking it is a younger male trying to steal a female [hence hiding after each attempt] and it is not sure what to do or trying something different but that is wild speculation on my part Apologies for the sticks He didn't go into the open at all | ||||||||||||||||||
