CommentI hope I am not being seen to over-use the critique gallery with another image.. I shot this image under high cloud with beautiful soft light hitting my subject against the dark colours of the dam. I have attempted to show the brilliance I saw on the day, some moving parts and some stillness, without blowing highlights. I recalibrated my screen before posting and wonder if the image is bright enough. I view the image 4 stops below full screen brightness and wonder if others take a similar approach. My focal point missed his head slightly (and he was moving about )so I used Topaz AI stabilise tool to selectively improve that. With hindsight I feel I should have lifted ISO a little to enable me to shoot a bit faster, although I wanted to capture some movement. I shot this image using Canons AWBW (white balance) setting and felt the need to warm it a fraction in post processing LR. Welcome any comments.
