CommentI thought I was photographing a Brown Thornbill. These little birds are constantly on the move - so it can be difficult to get a clear view for a proper ID. Then I looked at my images and realised I had a Large-billed Scrubwren. It's my best image of 1 and only the second time I have photographed them.

Hand held.
1/320th sec at f/8 , ISO 2000.
Processed with DPP4, PSE14 with Neat Image v8 plugin.
