CommentThis bird came in for an early morning drink at Hickey’s Beach in Timber Creek. Initially I was uncertain as to what it was – maybe a juvenile Brown-headed Honeyeater or a juvenile White-throated Honeyeater – but poring over the illustrations and descriptions of honeyeaters in the ‘Australian Bird Guide’ I believe it to be a juvenile Black-chinned Honeyeater. Any advice to the contrary would be appreciated.
