CommentBelieved to be a female Western Whistler, Pachycephala occidentalis.
Not recorded in the BWL-BirdLife_Working_List v2.x as a separate species.
Recording here as Pachycephala melanura occidentalis as a reminder that if the BWL-BL list is updated to include the Western Whistler as a separate species, this photo will be relocated under Western Whistler.
EquipmentNikon D850 with Nikkor 200 - 500 f/5.6 at 500mm. 1/500 sec at f/8 and ISO 500.

Processed in Capture One with usual levels and a touch of sharpening, and some local adjustments to lift the bird.
