CommentOne of my goals in 2020 was to work on Birds in flight photography and this is one of the images that I was particularly pleased with. The pigeon is nicely lit against and the background which was in shadow has been rendered dark as a result of exposing for the bird. The birds pose with fully extended wings and tail is attractive as well as showing off the features of the Bronzewing.
EquipmentNikon D500 with Nikon 200-500mm lens at 400 mm Exposure 1/3200 sec at f7.1 with ISO 800 Processed with PSE 15 convert raw image & to crop, adjust exposure, & sharpening following Glen Pure & Ian Wilson's guidelines
