CommentUsing the electronic shutter on the Canon R5 not only fills up the memory card in a hurry ,but when reviewing the images there is nearly always a few surprises. This Willy was hunting for insects in and around a puddle of water in our back paddock and I was very pleased to have frozen the moment that the bird fanned it’s wings and caught its prey. I was also surprised to see a reflection of the bird in the water.
EquipmentCanon EOS R5 Canon EF 300mm f/2.8 IS III ,2III extender
1/2000sec @ f/5.6 ISO 1250 focal length 600mm Spot Metering. Tripod.Raw file processed in DPP 4 and then transferred to Photoshop for noise reduction using Topaz De Noise AI and then downsizing and sharpening before saving.
