Comment"In for a landing" - Rainbow Bee-eaters are great to watch and photograph. I have always struggled to get acceptable in-flight images however, switching to a mirrorless camera with a high frame rate has allowed me to do this. I spent many hours with these in my local area, studying their habits etc especially their favourite perches. Then it was waiting quietly for the right moment to happen. This Rainbow Bee-eater is fully focused on its landing to one of its favourite perches.
