CommentAssumed female with a captured Common Brown butterfly. The dry grassland background provides a nice canvas in which to present this portrait of one of our most stunning birds. Relatively slow shutter speed used due to the rather cloudy & early morning conditions with f/7.1 used to create depth between subject & background.
EquipmentCanon EOS R3, Canon EF 500mm f4L IS II USM Lens & Canon EF 1.4x III Extender with tripod at 700mm, exposed at 1/640 secs, f/7.1 on ISO 640. Manual. Processed using Lightroom with Topaz De-Noise plug-in for noise reduction.
