CommentThis pair of Brolgas were just feeding and going about their early morning routine when a call from another Brolga (I think) in the distance suddenly had this pair on high alert. The male (on the left) was most vocal, and it wasn't long before the female (on the right) chimed in.
EquipmentCanon EOS R5 with RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1, handheld. Settings: 420mm, f/8, 1/640 sec, ISO 400. Processed with Capture One Pro.
