CommentI often walk past a group of galahs or corellas feeding on grass seeds or roots, and simply continue on without even giving them a second thought. On this ocassion the bird seemed OK with my presence, and thus I decided to spend a good 10 minutes lying down in the hope of taking a nice shot.

Photographed at 1/200 sec., f/8, ISO 640 and at a focal length of 784mm.

MInor processing in L/R required to reduce highlights, and cropped at a 16:9 ratio.
