| Comment | A Little Raven near Royal Park, Melbourne. Although a slightly cluttered photo, I like how the bird's open mouth allows the light to really highlight the pink gape of the young raven. If I'm understanding my bird book correctly this bird is likely almost finished with its juvenile plumage; the base of its lower beak has started turning black, and its eyes are just barely still blue. | |||||||||||||||
