| Comment | An early morning visit to the beach at Lockhart River proved to be very rewarding when just as we arrived, so did the Palm Cockatoos. Seeing and photographing these birds for the very first time was so exciting. It was also a challenge trying to get the exposure right ,with a smoky black bird set against a sky that was sometimes very bright and sometimes cloudy. in this image a grey cloud drifted in behind the bird giving the background a softer tone. | ||||||||||||||||||
