| Comment | One of Melbourne's most highly sought after birds (at the moment), this Channel-billed Cuckoo posed a most challening photography scenario, perched on a tree that sits perfectly central in between two fairways on the golf course, which is adjacent to Wilson Reserve in Ivanhoe. Moreover, the light was behind the bird, which added to the complexity, although creating a nice bokeh from the leaves in the trees positioned in the background. I can't remember how many times I ran on and off the course in an effort to avoid golfers tee'ing off, however, overall happy with the end result given the challenges. | ||||||||||||||||||
