| Comment | Pied Stilt photographed at sunrise at my favourite Mowanjum wetland. Was very fortunate to photograph the shallow area as the hot weather was coming on and water was evaporating and drying out. Water was very shallow and with light or no wind there was a fantastic reflection of the bird in the water. Image was cropped in DPP and highlights and shadows adjusted in Photoshop and resized. A week after this photo was taken the area was threatened with a big bushfire. | ||||||||||||||||||
