| Comment | Juvenile Jacky Winter in late afternoon light and wonderfully camouflaged. Side and back view. This youngster was one of two fledglings having left the nest two days prior to this capture. Note: that the primaries and tail feathers are still in the process of full emergence; the obvious cream gape which often has a slightly swollen appearance in some juvenile passerines. | ||||||||||||||||||
