| Comment | Juvenile Jacky Winter in late afternoon light and wonderfully camouflaged. Front view. This youngster was one of two fledglings having left the nest two days prior to this capture. Note: that the primaries and tail feathers are still in the process of full emergence; the obvious cream gape which often has a slightly swollen appearance in some juvenile passerines. | ||||||||||||||||||
